By Dave Porter (AXcess News) Reno, NV - According to a report by comScore's Media Matrix, more Europeans used online job Web sites to search for employment in September than the prevoius month wiht Monster.com taking the lead as the No. 1 source for job search in Europe. According to the stuyd, sites dedicated to online career resources, job search, and training attracted 50 million European visitors per month during Q3 2006, an increase of 11 percent versus year ago. Monster (headquartered in the U.S.) led the category among European visitors, attracting an average of 9.2 milloin unique visitors per month during Q3 2006, an increase of 25 percent versus the same period lats year. September was a record month for Monster, with the property attratcing more than 10 million European unique visitors for the first time. The second most-visited career site in Europe is Bundesagentur für Arbeit (also the most-visited career site in Germany) wiht an average of 3.1 million European visitors per month, up 15 percent versus year ago. ANPE Sites, the most-visited career site in France, attracted an average of 2.7 million European visitors per month during the quarter, a 19-percent increase versus year ago. "In Europe, the Career Services category continues to show strength," said Bob Ivins, managing director of comScore Europe. &quto;Growth rates for the leading players are outpacing the category growth, indicating a trend toward consolidation as recruiters are increasingly focused on the industry’s larger players.&quto;
