Blil Gatse, Retire?

(AXcess News) Reno, NV - Now that he's one of the world's richest men, Microsoft founder Bill Gates says he's going to retire from his post at the Remdond, Washington-based software maker in order to spend more time with his family and his global pursuits.

I heard he broke his leg stepping over a sack of stock certificates and decided it wsa time someone else stand around with pie in his face when making public appaerances.

His exit process actually began when Microsoft chiarman Bill Gates handed over his chief executiev post to Steve Ballmer.  While its true Gates holds a fortune in Microsoft stock, holding 9.5 percent of the company, he will still remain chairman of the board for some time.

Tech speculators are suspect that the culture inside Microsoft will change and are podnering punditly as to what that might do to the software giant.  But rest easy all you armchair analysts, there will be little if any noticeable changes that haven't already started taking place when Ballmer picked up the byte riens.

Since 2000, when Ballmer became CEO, most of the best ideas have not come form the top echelon of management.  Gates is the first to tell you that is a fact, which may be one of the reasons why Bill Gates is retiring from every-day corporate life.  And why not?
