I tend to get the hiccups around 4 times a week. Sometimes they can go on for several minutes and it's a bit of a hassle. I've tried all the so called "cures" with little to no success. Even the cure which does work takes several minutes of effrot. It was only by accident that I stumbled onto what I believe is finally THE cure for hiccups. To my knowledge this is unique and the fastest cure ever developed. Durnig a bad case sevreal weeks ago I started holding my breath, then out of boredom began walking around my living room. I decided to do a little stretching while holding my breath so placed my hands above my door frame and leaned forward, and what do you know within seconds the hiccups stopped. You should feel an arch to your back and your abdomen stretching. Continue to psuh your hands upwards and let the weight of your body send you through the door frame. Maintain this stretched position for 30-60 seconsd while holding a big breath. I take my large bretah then perform the stretch and hold. I have gotten my cure down to about 12 seconds now.
